HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A FRESH TATTOO
Directions for a fresh tattoo:
- Carefully unwrap your tattoo plastic.
- Gently wash your fresh tattoo with Foam Rinse + warm water.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- Apply Tattoo Aftercare Ointment (such as our Premium Ointment ) 3-4 times/day to help protect and heal.
- Apply thin coats of Premium Ointment 3-4 times a day as needed during the healing process. (Less is more, but if you feel your tattoo getting dry, do not resist to re-apply! There is no petroleum or harmful pore-clogging ingredients in this ointment, so you can never use too much.)
- Watch as your tattoo heals beautifully in comfort!
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF A HEALED TATTOO
Directions for a healed tattoo:
- Apply thin coats of Premium Ointment to your healed tattoo every day to keep it looking fresh and ensure the longevity of your new investment. Notice how soft and smooth Premium Ointment makes your skin look and feel!
- Remember, a little goes a long way. This ointment is designed to soften as soon as it hits your skin!
DIRECTIONS FOR ARTISTS USING EVOLV LUXURY TATTOO PRODUCTS
Prep Your Canvas
- Ensure your canvas is primed and any hair is shaved.
- Wipe the procedure area down with isopropyl alcohol.
- Apply a nice, even coat of stencil gel.
- Let it air-dry for a few seconds and apply your stencil.
- Allow the stencil to dry for a few minutes before starting your masterpiece!
Soothe + Lubricate
EVOLV ARTIST GLIDE is perfect to use throughout the entire tattoo procedure. Our blend of all-natural ingredients will help keep redness, irritation and inflammation to a minimum, while assisting with glide.
- Apply thin coats of EVOLV ARTIST GLIDE to the skin during the tattoo procedure.
- Re-apply as needed to assist with glide.
- Continue to use EVOLV ARTIST GLIDE throughout the course of the tattoo procedure; our ointment will not ruin your stencils or clog your tubes.
Clean + Rinse
Keeping your work clean after the tattoo procedure is one of the most important aspects of tattoo aftercare. After the tattoo is complete, use our CITRUS FOAM to clean your canvas.
- Wash fresh tattoo with CITRUS FOAM + warm water.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- Prepare to apply an aftercare ointment, such as our EXCEL!
Protect + Heal
Protect your new artwork and keep inflammation and irritation at bay. Hydrate, protect, and heal your tattoo with EVOLV TATTOO OINTMENT!
- Apply EXCEL in a thin layer. (Remember, less is more, but there is no petroleum or harmful pore-clogging ingredients in this ointment, so you can never use too much.)
- Provide your client with a EXCEL sample and tattoo aftercare instructions.
- Instruct client to apply thin coats of EXCEL 3-4 times a day as needed during the healing process.
- If the client feels their tattoo getting dry, do not resist to re-apply!
- Watch as your tattoo heals beautifully in comfort!
